Zero spangle galvanized steel coil is the grade customers ask for when the steel will be seen. After galvanizing, the coil passes through a skin pass mill that mechanically suppresses the zinc spangle, leaving a uniformly matte, finely grained surface that hides die marks and takes powder coating or liquid paint with an even gloss.
